This event sponsored by the Medical Cannabis Research Center (MCRC) at Drexel University welcomed Gillian Schauer, PhD, the executive director of the Cannabis Regulators Association (CANNRA), a nonpartisan, nonprofit association of government agencies involved in cannabis, cannabinoid, and hemp regulation across more than 45 states, three U.S. territories, the District of Columbia, Canada, the Netherlands, Malta, and Albania.
Dr. Schauer presented on the essential functions of CANNRA, the common challenges of regulating cannabis, why research is vital for cannabis regulators, and challenges that impact cannabis policy-based research.
