Incumbent Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel, arrives at the party office in Gandhinagar. After over four hours of counting of votes, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was seen inching towards an all-time high record of 150 Assembly seats. BJP candidates Jitu Vaghani, Purnesh Modi, Kanubhai Desai and Hardik Patel are leading against their rivals. AAP's chief ministerial candidate Isudan Gadhvi is leading in Khambhalia.
