詞曲作者為John Denver，美國鄉村歌手及創作家，創作曲超過300首。
此曲〈Perhaps Love〉是在作者與分居的妻子Annie Martell感情破裂時的創作，儘管他們最後走向離婚；而在1997年John Denver去世後的第二天，Annie Martell則說這是她最喜愛的曲子，而不是John Denver以她命名的熱門暢銷曲〈Annie’s Song〉。
1981年本曲被世界三大男高音之一的Placido Domingo收錄在1981年發行的同名專輯〈Perhaps Love〉，並廣為流傳。
此曲曲風原創為當代流行POP，本次演出合唱版本是Audrey Snyder改編成G大調慢速但帶有自由的節奏，由男女聲相互擔任主旋律演唱，彼此呼應，加上深情款款的歌詞，為世界著名情歌合唱曲。
