Bacary Sagna was a Manchester City player from 2014 to 2017. It was during that period, in 2015 to be precise, that the now infamous Paris attacks occurred, where terrorists ravaged the city. Three explosions occurred near the stadium where France was playing a friendly against Germany, and Sagna was one of the players on the pitch.
This gave rise to the Manchester City fans' chant recalling these events.
