Generally an Sealed Lead Acid Battery UPS Battery died with in a years or two because battery get completely dried but if you put little distilled water into this dying lead acid cell then the battery get a new life again. Also It will increase UPS battery backup time. I have a 6 years OLD UPS battery working fine. Every year I just put some water inside those cell.
** If you break the seal of the battery and put water inside then try to keep the battery straight, else acid might spill on your UPS.
