Two Barrels With Human Remains Found In Lake Hartwell

Описание: A gruesome discovery is made in an Upstate lake. In less than 24 hours, two bodies are found in barrels in Lake Hartwell. Authorities do believe these homicides are connected. Deputies are serving a warrant in the area where the bodies were found. At this time it's not known if it is related to this case. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says the first barrel was found Wednesday after receiving a tip from a passerby. It contained the body of a woman. The body has been identified, but her name is not being released.A dive team found the other barrel around 3 p.m. Thursday with another set of human remains inside. This time the victim was male. Both barrels were sealed. As authorities work to determine the identification of this person, the sheriff's office is continuing to search Lake Hartwell for clues.  Investigators hope to identify the second victim by Friday morning. Detectives say that will help them learn more about their background and determine where they came from. Authorities are not releasing the name of the female victims at this time.
