Sediment Ripples Formed in Stream Table

We demonstrate how we used our Emriver Em3 single-tilt stream table and Wave Maker to form sediment ripples. We were inspired by a blog about sand ripples: https://fyfluiddynamics.com/2016/02/s... The media was flat, about 2 inches thick, but tapered down to aluminum in front of the Wave Maker.
The water was about 1.5 inches above all of the media. It was fully submerged at the beginning. The beach was formed as media was pushed up to the reflection plate. Watch the ripples as they develop over time under water, offshore from the beach.
