Presidential Staffer Beatrice Annan has defended the Mahama-led administration, stressing that the government remains committed to addressing national challenges with transparency and action. She pointed out that the NPP struggled with effective communication during its time in power and clarified that no government appointee is engaged in either legal or illegal mining. Annan added that community mining previously lacked clear policy guidelines and that a state of emergency alone cannot end galamsey. She urged Ghanaians to appreciate President Mahama’s leadership, assuring that the current government is focused on making Ghana better than it was.
