Kyle and Cameron demonstrate at the timing element of footstrikes in the judo throw sumi-otoshi. In particular, we are looking at the exact moment when the opponent takes the first step and their foot hits the ground (but before they fully shift their weight to it). At this point, the opponent is particularly vulnerable, and this can be used to an advantage. This is a great video for people learning judo throws, and also for those who are teaching these throws to beginner students.
