Описание: পৌষকে বিদায় জানিয়ে মাঘের শুরুতে গ্রাম আর নগরজুড়ে জেঁকে বসেছে শীত। আর তাইতো প্রতি বছরের মত এবারো সাভারের জাহাঙ্গীরনগর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ভিড় করেছে হিমালয়ের দেশ থেকে আসা বিভিন্ন প্রজাতির অতিথি পাখি। এই সুযোগে বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে পাখিপ্রেমীরাও ভিড় করছেন ক্যাম্পাসের লেকের ধারে। প্রাণীবিদরা বলছেন এসব অতিথি পাখি রক্ষা করে আমাদের প্রাকৃতিক ভারসাম্য।

ঝাঁকে ঝাঁকে পাখির দল, ভাসছে দিগন্তের নিলে। কখনো চুপচাপ ঝিলের জলে, কখনোবা এক হয়ে আকাশ মাতিয়ে বেড়াচ্ছে শীতের এই অতিথিরা।
