This is the complete version of Tuneful Jazz, my original piano composition, performed live on a public piano at Haneda Airport, Tokyo.
Playing an original piece in an airport felt especially fitting — a space filled with movement, departures, reflections, and quiet moments between journeys. Tuneful Jazz blends melodic jazz harmony with a flowing, lyrical piano style, and performing it in full here allowed the piece to breathe naturally from start to finish.
Haneda Airport has a calm yet international atmosphere, and sharing an original composition in such a space made this performance feel both personal and open — music meeting travellers from all over the world.
