The word “Tokoloshi “ is the name of an evil being that has a monkey like appearance and it’s origins are from South Africa and Mozambique being myself a SoutMoza colored and growing up between South Afrca and Mozambique where these evil beings are used by whitches others may call them sangomas to do their beddings upon whoever they wish the “ Tokoloshi “ to torment.
So in other words the song is saying in general “ you evil being “ and that can be directed to anyone who behaves insuch manner being compared by the bad traite of the “ Tokoloshi “ in such a way in our lives with deceit and mischief behaviour towards us, am letting them know that they have tried many times but have lost the fight again my life so hence i call them “ Tokoloshi” .
