On Wednesday 27th April at Tocal Agricultural College the Maitland Business Chamber and Youth Express joined forces with the support of Maitland City Council, to host the "Empower (You)th" - Maitland Business and Youth Working Together.
The guest speaker was Brent Williams, an international best selling author, recipient of the "Gen Y Leader of the Year" award, business entrepreneur and inspirational speaker. Brent's "Empower U" personal development and life skills program to boost confidence, motivation and happiness.
The event brought local youth to meet, network and engage with the local business community for both youth and business to learn from each other. Business leaders, had the chance to step outside of there networking box. MBC Members were also encouraged to bring along the junior staff from their business.
Liam from Red Insight attended the event with his employer and his feedback is inspiring.
