Sing a Song of Selby, Winter 2021 and Spring 2022
Sing a Song of Selby is a singing and song writing project with young people from primary
schools in Selby District.
The children have written and performed their own songs based on stories about Selby, working with Sam Dunkley from Performing Arts etc.
The project is part of Selby Stories - an exciting programme of arts and
cultural events running until late 2023, celebrating what makes Selby special and unique.
This film shows songs from Selby Community Primary School and Selby Abbey
Primary School, written in the winter of 2021 and recorded in March 2022.
