GW2 - Crafting my 1st and 10th Legendary at the same time!

I have been playing Guild Wars 2 for a little over four years holding out some hope that one day a precursor drop would happen, but RNG doesn't love me, and so it never happened.

Over these years I had accumulated a good amount of gold from just playing the game, so four months ago I decided to take matters into my own hands!

I was finally going to craft my first Legendary by buying my precursor off the trading post. But, I quickly realized that wouldn't be enough for me... I needed more!

Since I had started playing new Legendary items had been added. There was Legendary Armor, Legendary Backpieces, and even a Legendary Trinket!

With that I envisioned that it was not only time to craft my first Legendary Weapon, It was in fact time I crafted a full set of Legendaries!

I then set out to make this dream a reality! This video shows my journey...


Things to note:
1. I had completed a lot of vital steps in the Legendary crafting before I decided I was going to make a video about it so some important milestones were unfortunately left out.

2. The Mystic Forging seen in the video was done out of order because I wasn't thinking about it when I did it. That's why my inventory may look weird depending on where you are in the video. Oh well.

This whole journey took so much time! Between doing all the Living World Season 3 content in order to get crafting Aurora. To having to do so many matches of Ranked PvP on my Herald and Reaper in order to craft The Ascension. Each night I would spend doing at least a single map towards World Completion so that I would be able to craft The Bifrost and The Juggernaut. Then there was the 5 months spend in WvW Zerg running around with my Herald, Weaver and Scourge for participation so that I could get the WvW tickets that I would need for my WvW Legendary Armor, the Triumphant Hero's Armor.

I'll tell you what, the journey was a good time investment, but I would do it again. GW2 Crafting is a rush when it's Legendary!
