The talented Freddie McGregor singing 'Get Serious' with Root Radics backing, which was released on Greensleeves in 1982 from the 'Big Ship' LP
Track two is the great vocal trio The Viceroys, with 'They Can't Stop Us Now' from their 'We Must Unite' LP, released on Trojan records in 1982.
Track Three 'I Can't Wait Too Long' is Barrington Levy, also released on Trojan records in 1982 and taken from his 'Poor Man Style' LP.
The Scientist dub version 'Vampire Initiative' is taken from the 'Scientist Encounters Pacman' LP, released on Greensleeves in 1982.
All tracks were recorded at Channel One and Harry J's, produced by Linval Thompson and mixed by Scientist.
These tracks have been Intricately remixed by Toby Ranks with additional vocal snippets, drum licks, guitars and effects in the style of the time, creating unique versions of 40 year old rub-a-dub classics.
