Today I will be unboxing and installing the Eonon GMX7 8" plug-n-play touchscreen radio. This unit runs on Android 13, and not only can you download and install Android apps on the radio, it also features wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The GMX7 comes with everything you need to install it in your Impala and have it work right out of the box. It works with both Bose and Non-Bose systems, and fully integrates with your stock OnStar system. It will not, however, work with the stock XM tuner. Good news is you can download the SiriusXM app either to the radio, or to your phone to use with AA/ACP, and stream SXM (which IMHO is better than the satellite service - more channels, on demand content, and is only $10/month.)

Also included is a backup camera! I briefly show how to mount and connect it up to your new headunit.
