Описание: This is my guide which shows how to effectively kill Frost Dragons to make money.

Frost Dragons can be killed in the Asgarnian Ice Caves to the south of Falador.

There are several ways to get the to Asgarnian Ice Caves:

1) Using the fairy ring code A-I-Q to Mudskipper Point is pretty quick and requires a dramen/lunar staff and you must have unlocked the fairy ring network. You will not need the staff if you have completed the 3rd fairy quest.
2) Placing your house in Rimmington and then teleporting to it is fairly good as well. You can also use a chipped Rimmington teletab if you have completed the Love Story quest.
3) You can run from several banks in the area. Falador East, Draynor Village and the Pest Control banks are the closest.
4) You could use the Explorer's Ring teleport but this will take up an inventory/equipment slot which can be used for something better instead.

Frost Dragons are found in the Ice Caves Resource Dungeon which can be unlocked at 85 dungeoneering. The first time you find this dungeon, you'll be rewarded 15,000 dungeoneering experience. There are 12 Frost Dragons found in this area.

Frost Dragons can use 3 different attacks:

Dragonbreath - Like every dragon, Frost Dragons can use a dragonbreath attack. This should be protected by your potion and/or antifire shield at all times.
Melee - This attack is only used within melee range and can hit quite high if you have low defence stats. You will take most of your damage from this attack.
Magic - Their magic attack can be used while fighting in melee range as well as from a distance. Their magic attack is extremely accurate and can hit very often even with high magic defence.

Their magic attack is more dangerous than their melee attack in terms of the damage potential, so protection from magic with high melee defence is recommended.

The Frost Dragons' Dragonbreath must be combated with some form of Antifire Protection.

The standard way is to use the Anti Dragonfire Shield with a regular Antifire Potion. This reduces Dragonbreath damage to 0 for the duration of the potion. The Dragonfire Shield (DFS) can also be used in this method.

Another form of Antifire protection is the use of the Super Antifire Potions, which completely protect you from Dragonbreath until the potion runs out. Because of this, the Antifire Shields aren't required and 2-handed weapons or other shields can be used instead.

Frost Dragons have a weakness to stab, so you should use a weapon with a high stab bonus. The zamorak spear is a good choice for most players with super antifire potions. Chaotic rapier and longsword are great if you have them, and are the ideal weapon choices. If you don't have any of these weapons, then the leaf-bladed sword or Korasi's sword are good one-handed weapons that can be used with regular antifire potions and the antifire shield.

Because of the exclusivity of the Frost Dragons location, it's highly beneficial to bring a Beast of Burden to hold some of the profitable frost dragon bones for you so that you can get more kills per bank trip and is therefore more efficient for making money.

The best choice is the Pack Yak, which requires 96 summoning. The yak can hold 30 items but the real benefit is its special ability which can immediately transport an item straight to the bank. This can be used on the bones that the dragons drop and you won't have to stop killing. With adequate supplies, you can easily stay at this location for the entire duration of the pack yak's timer.

The War Tortoise and Spirit Terrorbird are the next best choices as they will save you plenty of time in bank visits and therefore get you more cash per hour.

The Cannon is optional but highly recommended for killing Frost Dragons if you want to make money as fast as possible. The cannonballs will cost you more but you earn more from the added bones that you'll recieve. The cannon can also kill frost dragons while you are busy picking up the bones and drops from other kills.

Here are 2 example trips to Frost Dragons:

1) Without the cannon
Cost in supplies: 162,458
Number of bones: 112
Total loot: 1,883,082
