Tonight's video and live-streamed Zoom event - our second night and conclusion of our two-night Monday & Thursday Night Online Open Mics' 3-year anniversary celebrations at the Nuyorican Poets Café - co-hosted by Ray Jane and Elemen2al the Poet.
The Nuyorican Poets Cafe started to host online open mics in March 2020, a few weeks after lockdowns and shutdowns impacted theaters and bars and cafes after the Covid-19 pandemic had started.
In this second night of our anniversary celebration, we continued to hear from past and present performers from our offline and online community of poets, storytellers, comedians, and singers, and again gave away raffle and trivia prizes.
