We launched our Lagoon 440 catamaran. Truth be told, LOTS of up and downs with this boat life, but she's now in the water!!
Real time we are on a mooring in Buzzards' Bay, Massachusetts.
We had to do a little boat work first! We fixed the sails, changed the oil in both engines, did some updates with electronics, got our cabins comfy, and more.
We are sailing up to Maine for the summer. The plan is to explore Kennebunkport, Cape Porpoise, Casco Bay, and Penobscot Bay. My summer goal is to go up to Acadia National Park.
In September we are heading south. The girls want to go to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. Then after that head further south. I'd love to stop in NYC for a night or two before arriving in Maryland then off to the Bahamas. I've been dreaming about Eleuthera.
We plan to find a place to keep the boat in the Bahamas, so any ideas would be great!
We are thinking maybe the Exumas. It seems easy to get to and a fun place to explore. Can't wait to catch some Mahi Mahi.
