It all started with one simple question: Who goes there? This little science fiction novella by John W. Campbell, Jr. became the inspiration for the film The Thing From Another World in 1951, which became a huge success. In 1982 Halloween director John Carpenter made The Thing. It wasn't a big success at first and didn't make a lot of money, but the film is still known as one of the best horrorfilms ever made.
'Original vs Remake' shows the differences and resemblances between the old and the new. And tonight's film is The Thing (from Another World). It's Nyby vs. Carpenter, Tobey vs. Russell. Thing vs. Thing.
