On the north-east coast of Victoria towards the Tasman Sea, ET visits the coastal town of Lakes Entrance, renowned in Australia for its Eastern School Whiting. Working alongside skipper Darren, ET and Highline Restaurant (Melbourne) chef Simon Tarlington learn about the trawling techniques used to virtually remove any trawling damage.
This video is part of the FRDC project, Seafood Escape with ET, held to raise community awareness of six under-appreciated commercial species and to raise the profile and educate the community about the practices used by commercial fishermen.
