Nondual Christianity - Play is the Purpose of Life

Biblical Evidence:
God is completely free and independent. There is no outside force or compulsion. Creation then must be a free act.
Acts 17:24-25 - The God who made the world and everything that is in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made by hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things

God is unchanging in essence/being, so nothing can be added/removed or gained/lost. Therefore, creation cannot add or remove anything to God.
Psalm 102:26-27 -Even they will perish, but You endure; All of them will wear out like a garment;
Like clothing You will change them and they will pass away. 27 But You are the same, And Your years will not come to an end.

God created to show his glory because creation displays his character and presence.
Revelation 4:11 - “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

God created to delight in creation. This is what I am calling play because there is no purpose beyond the experiencing of creation.

People glorify God and delight in Him/creation by being present moment by moment with whatever is happening within and without.
Psalm 16:11 - You will make known to me the way of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

What about other purposes:
An assumption that people often make is that only parts of creation are part of the divine play. We judge things as good and evil and believe that the evil things are not part of the play. What if it was all included?

When we are confused and think our true identity is our ego mind, then we naturally start to think the purpose of life is to get to God. That the purpose is to be saved or overcome our separation. That we need to either attain something or get rid of some broken/corrupted/unworthy part of ourselves.

Existential philosophy looks at the purpose of life and comes to the same conclusion. It sees everything as meaningless. This could also be understood as equal. If everything has equal purpose, then whether you call it all meaningless (also aligned with Ecclesiastes) or meaningful it is equal. The point becomes the experience itself because there cannot be an inherent better or worse.

The beauty is that is everything is play, then even in the middle of striving toward a mistaken purpose is still play.

What does this all mean?
Whatever you do is fine. There is no inherent better or worse purpose in life. There is effective and ineffective means of acting, and there is the clarifying and intentionally pursuing what you want. But, nothing can be more cosmically meaningful than anything else.

You cannot waste your life. You can relax because wherever you are in this moment is just as valuable in purpose as anything else you might imagine. Perhaps you could judge wasting your life as not living with awareness and presence. However, even if the ego mind is trying to escape and checkout from life with drugs, etc., your divine essence is always aware...even then your divine essence is experiencing the play.

All is your play. Can you delight in the spectrum of it? Can you delight in all the stories, the unpleasant or difficult things like death? Can you recognize that you are creating and acting for the play of it all? This is not a passive attitude, it is active.

Rest because you are already what you seek. Even if you think you can gain or achieve something, that is still just part of your current play. So...in that freedom...what do you want to play?
