On Cloudflow - First Run

Описание: This is my first time running in a shoe from On, and I decided to start with the Cloudflow. It's a shoe intended for faster days and races from the 10k all the way through the marathon. And on paper, this shoe checks all the boxes of things I like, a shoe that doesn't try to guide your footstrike, a streamlined upper, minimal padding around the heel collar, and a midsole designed to provide impact protection without being too gummy. But in practice, it kind of just felt like a normal running shoe. It definitely prefers faster paces, and the midsole overall felt pretty good. It reminded me in the heel of the 890v7 and in the forefoot of the Boston 8 - good company to be in.

But with everything that is going on with the shoe, I expected a bit more of a wow factor. Maybe that wasn't fair, so I will continue to run in the shoe while trying to ignore that hype and hoopla surrounding the shoe. Stay tuned for the 100 mile review.
