About Our Experts
Jennifer Engel Fisher, M.S., is the Assistant Director of Weinfeld Education Group, where she oversees thirteen advocates and leads the Advocacy, School Selection, and Educational Assessment divisions.
Jennifer earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and her master's degree in Special Education from The Johns Hopkins University. She currently holds teaching certifications in both Elementary and Special Education. Jennifer is an experienced educator with expertise in working with students with a variety of disabilities including specific learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, emotional disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and twice-exceptional. Jennifer taught in Howard County Public Schools in both self-contained and inclusion settings. Additionally, she co-founded the Resource Program at the Lowell School in Washington D.C.
Her passion is guiding and empowering parents through the special education/Section 504 processes.
Stephanie Frumkin, M.A. Ed.
With a passion for excellence in education, Stephanie Frumkin earned both a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in Leadership in Teaching with dual concentrations in Teaching English as a Second Language and School Administration and Supervision. She is the founder and CEO of Exceptional Educational Solutions and specializes in providing compassionate, expert educational advice and services to parents with twice exceptional K-12 students in the D.C. area.
Stephanie has enjoyed more than 25 years of experience in the field of education. With her experience as both a teacher and as a parent, serving on both sides of the IEP table, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge regarding the ins and outs of schools, best practices in education, curricula, and a sensitivity to families struggling under the stress of a poor educational fit for their child.
