 Sarah Michelle Gellar is among three confirmed judges for Netflix's revival of a classic '80s talent competition series. Gellar's latest roles have included a special guest star role in the now-cancelled Dexter: Original Sin, alongside a cameo return to the cast of I Know What You Did Last Summer for its legacy sequel. She's now entering the world of competition television.  According to The Hollywood Reporter Gellar, alongside Jelly Roll and Chrissy Teigen, will act as judges for a Netflix revival of Star Search. Originally airing from 1983 to 1995, the series sees a group of contestants competing in various entertainment-based talent categories, while judges determine if they'll be making it to the next round.  Netflix's revival of the series is set to premiere on Tuesday, January 20 at 9 p.m. ET. The contest will air live on Tuesday and Wednesday night in the same time slot for five weeks in a row, offering 10 episodes total for the new rendition of the series. Anthony Anderson will star as the host of the show.  While Gellar is also currently working on the upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer revival for Hulu, she's no stranger to being a judge for competition TV shows. She's been a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race and Chopper Junior, showcasing she has what it takes to join Star Search. The same goes for her seasoned co-stars as well.  Jelly Roll has been a mentor and artist in residence for the latest seasons of American Idol, tapping into his music industry knowledge to aid the talent on the series. As for Teigen, she was a judge on MTV's food-based series Snack Off, later serving as a judge in the comedy competition Bring the Funny.
