Tutorial of Ableton's Collision synth plugin. I go over all the different buttons and settings and explain what they do. Collision is one of 3 physical modeling synths that come with Ableton Suite and it deals with simulating mallet-based instruments like xylophones, vibraphones, etc. Physical modeling is a type of synthesis where you simulate the mechanics and properties of physical instruments instead of sampling them or producing waveforms. This allows you to twist and bend reality and create instruments that would not normally exist in the world.
