One of the basic necessities for humans to survive is water. However, around the world, billions of people are deprived of this basic right - to water. Lack of sanitation is one of the major causes of infant mortality in third world countries.
As part of HIRA's sustainable water projects, we are offering long-lasting solutions. There are currently two packages available.
Package 1: $1500 for a borewell in Pakistan
Package 2: $300 for a handpump in Nepal
It was narrated that Sad bin Ubadah said:
عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَىُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ قَالَ سَقْىُ الْمَاء
"I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what charity is best?' He said: 'Giving water to drink."
