What if being “different” isn’t a disadvantage, but a strength waiting to be recognized?
This talk explores how a shift in mindset can turn difference into opportunity - for individuals and for the rooms they enter. Eynav Biadgo is a lawyer, social entrepreneur, and alumna of Unit 8200, Israel’s elite intelligence unit.
Confronted with the lack of representation of Ethiopian-Israelis in the high-tech industry, she founded “8200 Beta”- a groundbreaking initiative by the 8200 Alumni Association.
Named after the Beta Israel community (the historical name for Ethiopian Jews), the program empowers Ethiopian-Israelis through mentorship, entrepreneurship, and leadership development in Israel’s most influential sector.
Its mission is to reduce socio-economic gaps by creating equal opportunities, offer meaningful exposure to the world of technological innovation, and foster a new generation of role models within the community.
Eynav believes that true innovation can only happen when all voices are included at the table, and she’s working to ensure that the next generation of tech leaders reflects the full diversity of Israeli society.
