Stitch along to a new sample embroidery

Описание: This is a stitch along video. It wasn't meant to be but as you'll hear in the introduction, the sound recording went wrong. So here we are 😊.

Join me as I start work on a new embroidery sample. This piece will be a bookmark worked in silk and gold threads on linen with a 'tail'/ribbon of gold incorporating a glass bead. Its based on the beautiful Lovell Minster Jewell, which dates to the late 9th century and is on display at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, England. The kit is going to form an online class that I'm teaching for Embroidery Knally (website below). If you're interested keep checking the website for details (I don't think they'll be up when this video goes live). Once the class is complete I'll start selling the kit in my web-shop, so keep an eye on this if you fancy making one in your own time. When the sample is finished I'll also post a short of it.
