Technical Highlights :

AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension: Enables a driving experience characterized by a high level of agility, neutral cornering behavior and optimal traction : active roll stabilization with two electro-mechanic actuators working independently of one another on the front and rear axle, as well as fully variable torque distribution.

48-Volt on-board electrical system technology with EQ Boost: The engine found in the GLE 53 is supplemented with a powerful and efficient Integrated-Starter Generator, in addition to a powerful electric auxiliary compressor. This integrated electric motor system, known as EQ Boost, assists the combustion engine by adding up to 21 hp for short periods of time. EQ Boost also assists when accelerating, making driving without the combustion engine turned on possible ("sailing") and supplies the battery with power by means of high-efficiency recuperation.

Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX): A completely new multimedia system featuring innovative technology based on Artificial Intelligence and an intuitive operating system. MBUX technology is pioneering a new level of in-car experience. MBUX can be operated by Voice Control, the touchscreen (a first for Mercedes-Benz vehicles), Touchpad and Touch Control Buttons on the steering wheel.

AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive: The new GLE 53 is equipped for maximum traction and dynamics with AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive. The intelligent steering variably links the permanently driven rear axle with the front axle and continually calculates the optimum torque distribution – depending on the driving situation and the driver's wishes.

AMG DYNAMIC SELECT: The GLE 53 has seven drive programs: Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Slippery, Individual, and Off-road (Trail and Sand).
