The U10 Methane Sensor from AILF Instruments and DJI Enterprise.

Описание: Methane is a 'greenhouse gas' that is approximately 350 times more potent than Carbon Dioxide. It is a byproduct of a number of biological processes that are both naturally occurring and used across industry. This video is an overview of the U10 which is a new UAV payload specifically designed for Methane detection.

We tested the unit at a couple of wastewater treatment sites with it mounted on a DJI Matrice 210 UAV. The video is intended to demonstrate the unit in use and show the data produced by the system.

The U10 is a device which uses a tuned laser and detector to identify the presence and concentration of Methane based on the Spectroscopic changes which happen to the light as it passes through the target gas and is reflected back to the detector.

The ability to find and quantify Methane concentrations directly and remotely from the air is a powerful and agile capability.
