Attempting To Fix An ILLEGAL Issue With My Mercedes SLK280

Описание: According To The UK Law, My Mercedes Benz SLK is ILLEGAL.

Not because of any modifications or upgrades. But because of a broken part of my car. This is one of the most important parts of a car other than the engine, and the part in question is the drivers side headlight.

My headlights stopped working and it was a very scary experience, driving home with little to no visibility at all.

Today we are going to try and address the issue, however it isn’t as easy as just changing the bulb, nothings easy on this channel!

I need to jack up the car, which proves to be a challenge, remove the wheel, arch liner. All of this is just to get to the bulb.

However, trying to fix this issue made me find another big issue. The Jacking point on my car is missing, which means an MOT, service or any other repair or upgrade is impossible, so I’ll need to fix that before I can fix anything else.

My guess is that the previous owner tried to jack up the car on this weak point and put his jack through the mount and the side skirt, which is perished and will also need to be replaced.

Hopefully we can try this again soon and fix this issue once and for all!

This is our first fail in a while, so it’s a pretty annoying time, but maybe we needed to be humbled after such a good run.
