Vathalmalai is a hill station in Dharmapuri. It is situated at an altitude of 3000+ ft height above sea level. It is located 25 km (16 miles) from Dharmapuri city and 65km from Salem. The road has 26 hairpin bends to reach the hilltop. It's a nice place for a bike ride. If you want to enjoy the climate I recommend visiting the place in the month from Sept to Feb.
It is an emerging tourist spot so don't expect many tourism facilities here.
It's a great spot to experience the beauty of mother nature.
