DART recently opened their Silver Line commuter rail for revenue service. This new line spans 26 miles across the northern Dallas area, starting at Shiloh Road east of Plano and ending at DFW Airport Terminal B. The right of way is owned by DART from Shiloh station to CP Airport just before DFW North station, where the trains enter TEXRail territory for the rest of the trip into the airport. I made my out to see the new trains in operation and got some videos from a few different days. The first clip was from this past spring when they were doing test runs. The Stadlers aren't the most interesting trains to me but it’s great to have a new transit service in the region and wish it success.
