Steve Goncalves, father of Kaylee Goncalves, joins “Banfield” to vent his frustration at the plea deal accepted Wednesday by Bryan Kohberger, his daughter’s killer. The family wanted a trial and potential death penalty for Kohberger, who admitting to killing Kaylee and three other University of Idaho students in 2022. “I’m sorry, Kaylee,” an emotional Steve Goncalves said on “Banfield.” “I’m truly sorry I didn’t get you a prosecutor who really believed what happened to you could only be fixed with life.”
