Yelagiri is a hill station in the Vellore district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located about 210 km southwest of Chennai and 150 km east of Bengaluru.
Yelagiri is located 24 km south of Vaniyambadi, and 70 km east of Krishnagiri, Tamilnadu.
The area is known for its scenic beauty, including the Yelagiri Hills and nearby lakes and waterfalls. It is a popular destination for trekking, paragliding and other outdoor activities, as well as for its temples, heritage sites, and local festivals.
Kadavu Nachi Amman temple, a devi temple situated on the banks of Nilavoor lake is a calm.
One can walk to Nilavoor Cliff view point from here. The temple with a back drop of green hills around is quite scenic.
