Following his recent remix of Gregory Esayan's "Pilgrimage", Serbian artist Vintage & Morelli is back with "Tsukiakari Ame", a wonderful new two-track EP. A strong, hypnotic groove is quickly established in the Original Mix, while an evocative pluck arpeggio lurks in the background. The break sees the introduction of a haunting piano line, which is later accompanied by the prominent and energetic theme lead. The Deep Mix provides a more laid-back version, although still incredibly groovy. The piano elements are the foundation for the entire soundscape, and they are beautifully showcased in full in the break. A variant of the theme emerges soon thereafter, brilliantly integrated alongside the intriguing Orient-inspired flute melody.
