We are live the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. Our next show will be Thursday, June 12. “Things We Don’t Talk About” is a series of mental health conversations which delve into solutions for healing trauma and paths toward wellness. In the series, she covers topics ranging from intimate partner violence to intergenerational trauma, journalist Aisha Sultan shares personal case studies from within various communities.

She talks to mental health professionals about how the person in each scenario would seek help and begin a journey of healing along with the cultural and socio-economic hurdles various groups must overcome.

The series premiered on Nine PBS Monday April 28 and is airing weekly for its 12-episode run. The videos are also being uploaded to YouTube.

Aisha will talk about her own challenges and evolution as a mental health advocate.
