It’s been a long, tough winter in New York City—one with way too much snow and not enough sun. But the spring thaw is finally in sight, so we’re celebrating with a perfect NYC adventure.
My formula for the best day in the city is simple: map out one cafe, one bakery, one lunch spot, and one museum (all in the same neighborhood) and then just wander into whatever cute spots we find along the way.
Today’s Itinerary:
Cafe: Arcane Estate Coffee — A tiny Greenwich Village gem on Cornelia Street that was just ranked #12 on the list of the World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops.
Bakery: From Lucie is known for floral-topped aesthetic cake slices.
Lunch Spot: Bánh Anh Em — a new Vietnamese restaurant appearing on many top restaurants of 2026 lists.
The Museum: AKC Museum of the Dog — The perfect final stop for any dog lover.
