How to Translate your YouTube Videos to English | Tutorial

In this video, I'll show you how you can easily and automatically translate your non-English videos to English.

In this example, we hop over to VEED.IO. You can create an account for free. Click on the first link in the description to go straight to the website.

Once you're on the homepage, click on Upload Your Video, then click on Upload A File, select your video clip, and click on Open. Now your video is imported.

The video is Dutch. Before we translate it to English, we're going to have to transcribe the video. To do this, simply click on Subtitles on the left-hand side.

Next, choose Auto Transcribe. Select the language you're speaking in your video (in this case: Dutch) and then click on Start.

After a short moment, your video will have subtitles in the language spoken in the video. Before we translate the video to English, we're gonna do a quick grammar and timeline check.

Simply change the words in the text boxes on the left-hand side. And, click, drag, extend and shorten the subtitles bars on the bottom timeline to your liking.

Now, to translate your video to English, simply hop over to Translate in the menu, click on Add New Language. Make sure Translate From Original is selected, then click on Next.

Search for the language you’d like your video to translate to. In this case, that’s English. Click on the Translate To English button. And now your video is translated to English.

Again, feel free to correct your texts and timeline positions of your translated subtitles if you need to. And, hop over to Styles in the menu and easily change the font, size, colors, background, spacing, position, anything.

Before we export the video fully, it's important to know you can choose to download a separate SRT file from your translated video. This way, you can choose to upload these subtitles to let's say your YouTube videos separately if you wish!

Hop over to Options in the menu, select SRT Format under download subtitles, and click on the download button to download it to your computer.

If you’re satisfied and you'd like to download the video with the translated subtitles, simply click on Export on the right top corner, make sure Burn Subtitles is enabled, and click on Export Video.

After your video is rendered, click on download MP4 to download it straight to your computer.

Now you can upload your translated video to YouTube, or any other social media!
