In the fall of 2025, Bill 144 amended the Workers’ Compensation Act to allow WCB to review an Extended Earnings Replacement Benefits (EERB) at any time, rather than at fixed intervals of 36 and 60 months. This change took effect on January 1, 2026.
To provide clarity and direction on the legislation, we have drafted a policy that enables an annual review of an EERB. This webinar recording covers what’s changing and invites feedback until the consultation closes on March 16, 2026.
