Everybody knows that the Marine Corps is the strictest branch when it comes to tattoos, (what’s new, right?) However, within the past year, the Marine Corps tattoo policy changed for arguably the better.

After years of no sleeves , the Marine Corps has finally changed it stance, which now allows for sleeve tattoos on both arms as long as the tattoo does not extend past the wrist bone on either arm.

Also, marines are now allowed to have a single band tattoo, per hand (finger) not to be larger than 3/8 of an inch.

Still prohibited are any tattoos that extend above a properly fitting t-shirt; face, neck, behind the ears, etc.

As always, the continent must be appropriate meaning, no violence, gangs , drug references, nudity, sexual references, etc.

Anything covered by your shirt, or pants is allowed as long as it follows the rules above in terms of content.
