This was semi-final action from the 2023 International Open Bigfoot 10-Ball Challenge. We have seen players struggle to get comfortable on the 10’ Bigfoot table, but this is not one of those matches. This match is a great reminder that top players can still dominate the BigFoot.
Van Boening, known as The South Dakota Kid, has very little left to accomplish in this sport that he hasn’t already accomplished. He has played in a record seventeen Mosconi Cup contests, won five US Open 9-Ball Championships and was the reigning World 8-Ball Champion.
Yapp, the pride of Singapore, was a two time Michigan Open Champion and multiple medal winner at the Southeast Asian Games. He had just won the 2023 Battle of the Bull event prior to this event.
Mike Sigel and Kim Davenport were in the commentary booth.
