The entertainment industry historically has portrayed a horribly inaccurate image of how childbirth typically occurs. Pieces of a Woman not only sets the story around a home birth, but also shows a very realistic home birth/childbirth experience. Before this recording, I have seen the movie a couple times. This will likely by my last. It was really emotional. Vanessa Kirby received an Oscar nomination (among others) for her performance. Ellen Burstyn did also.
