In this video I will be attempting to make two pairs of flat bit tongs in an hour. Using some cleaver tools and a bit of good old fashion hard work, I somehow managed to make two pairs of tongs in an hour. Using the process of die forging to help stamp out the main part of the tong in seconds. In this video I work on making tongs as fast as possible using all my skill and knowledge I make super fast tongs. Making good usage of the immense power of my 3cwt Massey forging hammer and some well formed H13 I make great steps in the process of tong making.
