Описание: One of the only dubious representations of the war in Battlefield 1, the Oil of Empires operation starts out with kicking off the Persian Campaign. As the British, you must secure the lightly defended Fao Fortress. However, the game then switches fronts, leaving one wondering what the point of including Fao Fortress was. The Battle of Suez begins the fabricated portion of the Operation. Suez did indeed see a battle, but not one the Ottomans saw any success in. The game portrays the British attacking as a counterattack following a successful Ottoman offensive, but this Ottoman offensive did not see them secure any meaningful territory. Sinai Desert is also dubiously scaled, but not necessarily inaccurate. Certainly the battles portrayed in this Operation would not affect the outcome of the Arabian Campaign.
