What a session to get the blood pumping! Today I was fishing up the Parramatta River when a school of legal kingfish turned up and that was when the mayhem started. I started getting consistent hook ups and the odd smoking on my light outfit which I was running only 6lb line and leader. I was under-gunned as usual and it took everything I had to land that legal kingfish. To compound my problems, I was severely handicapped after getting wrapped around a rock on the dropoff after a big run as the fish tried to gain its freedom.
