Our journey in Spiti Valley continues. After starting around 10 AM from Tabo, with some fresh Spitian apples, we leave for Dhankar. On route, Spiti river flows alongside us, and it is one of the most soothing rides we have had.
When we are about to reach Dhankar, Spiti valley suddenly expands into this huge valley and it is view to admire for hours! We finally reach Dhankar. After spending some peaceful moments at Dhankar Monastery, we trek to Dhankar Lake.
In a short one hour trek, we are greeted with some of the grandest views of the valley. Dhankar lake is also enchanting, and a place with complete silence only broken by strong winds.
Although Pin valley too was on our cards, due to lack of time, we cancel that and head straight to Kaza. And after yet another scenic ride, we reach Kaza.
