About Dira More

Dira More received his Music Master's Degree from Tokyo University of the Arts in Japan and spent a long time at Bristol University in the UK under the Music Professor Fellowship Program.

Dira More has held various positions as an assistant lecturer, associate professor, and professor in the Department of Music at the National University of Culture and Arts (Yangon) and Vice-Chancellor at the National University of Culture and Arts (Mandalay).

In addition to creating five solo albums, He won the Myanmar Film Award for Outstanding Music in 2009 (Zaw Ka Ka Na Na) and 2016 (Lu Yadana Thayak). He has established Music City Myanmar, which is passing on knowledge and skills in music to the new generation of Myanmar. He is a musician who has created many iconic musical compositions.
